Every number on this page is a direct aggregate over the JDM Buy Sell production database
(Supabase Postgres, project osswnbmxsquxihvrxpem),
computed at request time. There is no caching layer between the database and this page beyond Cloudflare's
default edge cache.

Hero metrics, distinct dealer / country / make / model counts, and price aggregates come from
public.market_trends_overall_stats(), which runsCOUNT,COUNT(DISTINCT …),AVG, andpercentile_cont(0.5)in one round-trip. -
Top-10 chassis come from
market_trends_top_chassis(p_limit:=10), grouping thelistingstable by(make_slug, model_slug)where status is active and both slugs are non-empty. -
25-year-rule chips come from
market_trends_eligibility_countdown(p_current_year:=2026), filtering active and sold listings byyear. - Median and average prices reflect asking prices, not transacted sale prices. Actual transaction prices may differ materially.

Distinct dealer count is derived from non-empty
dealer_namevalues in active listings — this is feed-sourced metadata. The verified dealer account directory is separately maintained; the two counts may differ because some feed entries share a dealer name without a separate account. -
The "10 countries verified footprint" figure is the human-curated list (USA, CA, JP, UK, AU, DE, NL, ZA, TZ, TH).
The "in active feed" figure reflects feed-metadata completeness for the
countrycolumn; some listings have no country value and are excluded from the distinct count. - Listings with no price or unknown make/model are excluded from price statistics. Price stats reflect listings with a reported USD value only (1,647 of 1,803).
- 25-year-rule eligibility is based on the seller's stated production year; actual import eligibility depends on the certificate of origin date. Consult a licensed US customs broker before transacting.
- Price-history trends (30-day change) are not yet available — historical accumulation begins from the date this data layer was deployed.
- Export-side Japan auction pricing is not integrated in this version; the aggregator pipeline is a Phase 6 deliverable.
- This page makes no claims about other platforms. Inventory figures for marketplaces not operated by JDM Buy Sell are not independently verified here.
